Patsy is the younger brother of the bo'sun on the Golden Bird. While his brother went to sea, Patsy stayed behind and worked the docks as a longshoreman. A recent spate of trouble at cards involving the harbormaster's cousin left Patsy without a job. (Mind you, it wasn't Patsy who had trouble with the cards.) So when he heard that Jung Fei Wu the Cursebreaker, an old shipmate of his brother's, and a renowned adventurer was looking for a porter, Patsy signed up. He had always envied his brother's life of adventure on the open sea. Now he's wondering what he got himself into.
