Category:Prestige Classes

From Darelth Wiki

There are only a few basic rules that apply to all prestige classes:

  1. These are the standard rules regarding the Profession skill.
    • Since Arcana Evolved does not use the Profession skill, it is removed, without replacement, from all prestige class skill lists.
    • If a prestige class uses Profession(X) as a skill requirement, a replacement requirement will be identified for the prestige class.
  2. These are the standard rules regarding the Monk class.
    • All references to the Monk class within a prestige class should be replaced with a reference to Oathsworn.
    • Any prestige class that has Still Mind (a Monk class feature) as a prerequisite instead uses the Oathsworn class feature of Refuse Fear.
  3. Since Darelth uses psionics as the only magical system, the following are considered to be the standard "magic-to-psionic" conversions; other necessary changes will be explicitly noted.
    • Replace all references to Spellcraft with Psicraft
    • Replace all references to Knowledge(Arcana) with Knowledge(Psionics)
    • Replace all references to "caster level" with "manifester level"
    • Instead of gaining "+1 effective spellcaster level", the prestige classes gain "+1 effective manifester level" and use the standard rules text for that.
  4. Transform the standard alignment requirements to the Darelth traits.
