From Darelth Wiki
The cultures of Darelth are about as advanced as Earth was at the end of the first millenium of the common era. However, because of the presence of the Akashics, Darelth has never entered a Dark Age similar to what the populations of Europe were experiencing at that time. Because of this, population in Darelth is slightly more concentrated in cities, and technology is slightly more advanced. Overall, population is distributed in a manner presented in the following table:
| Population Centers | Heavily Urban | Normal | Heavily Rural |
|---|---|---|---|
| Megalopoli (< 1,000,000) | (Included in Metropolis Percentage) | ||
| Metropoli (< 100,000) | 0.05 | 0.01 | 0 |
| Cities (< 25,000) | 0.1 | 0.09 | 0.07 |
| Towns (< 5,000) | 0.2 | 0.2 | 0.18 |
| Villages (< 900) | 0.4 | 0.4 | 0.4 |
